Vermont Blend Forage Balancer and Hoof Supplement

This is what we give our own equines! The best supplement to supply trace minerals that are lacking in hay, even the nicest hay, grown on the east coast. No added iron (this is extremely important if your soil has high levels of iron). Ideal for donkeys and mules, great for horses, safe for easy keepers and anybody requiring low sugar and starch, equines with metabolic issues or Cushing's Disease,  brood mares, weanlings to seniors.
These loose minerals can be fed with a few hay or hay stretcher pellets or added to grain but our animals will eat them straight out of your hand. Measure with a regular kitchen measuring cup based on weight- easy peasy! Formulated by an equine nutritionist to add essential trace nutrients lacking in east coast hay in exactly the right ratios to each other- without having to mix up a zillion supplements yourself. Benefits include improved hoof quality, a vibrant coat with less fading and a better topline.
